We are seeking self-motivated Housekeepers to join our team on a casual basis. With the direction of a Plum Living Manager, the Housekeeper will be responsible for all general housekeeping and laundry duties, ensuring all assigned areas are kept at the highest cleaning standard and all tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner. You will be responsible for the cleaning of vacation rental suites, building common areas and other related duties as assigned. This position may also be expanded to our home health care service and include the cleaning of private client homes.
Experience:
You must demonstrate the ability to meet the physical and mental requirements of the position, including the ability to carry out activities that include lifting and bending. The incumbent must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a self-directed environment. Fluency in English is required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in housekeeping, building services or equivalent experience, preferably in a hotel/resort environment. As this position may extend to our home health care service, knowledge of W.H.M.I.S. principles, certificate in CPR and Emergency First Aid would be an asset. This casual position may include day, evening and/or weekend shifts. Flexibility and initiative is key in this role. This position will be ideal for someone looking for part-time work or additional working hours.
