Plum Living provides a wide range of Home Support Services as one-time or temporary service, or for an on-going basis. In addition to providing services for older members of the LGBT community, our clients also include busy professionals who choose to have trusted, professional, and personal housekeeping services. Home Support - Cleaning, laundry, basic pet care, meal preparation and other home management duties.
Our services will be personalized to meet your needs. We have Housekeepers andHome Support Workers with a wide range of skills. If you don't see what you are looking for, please ask us.
Personal Care
NursingCare - Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses provide in home nursing services and private duty nursing. Nursing services include: medication administration, IV therapy, diabetes care, wound care, palliative care and othe prescribed medical treatments.
Daily LivingSupport - For those needing personal support services provided by either a certified care aide or skilled care worker. Personal Support Workers are available to assist with the activities of daily living such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing or grooming. Services also include medication monitoring, post-surgical care, alzheimer's and dementia care, Tracehostomy and venitilator care, and Palliative Care, and other personal care services. We can also provide 24 hour care if You need continued support.
Personal Support and Companionship
Plum Living provides Personal Support with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, hair washing, oral hygeine and toileting.
Companionship means many things...warm friendships, social interaction, community engagement, and much more. Plum Living understands the need to remain active in human warmth and community.
Care Companions provide one-to-one support and friendship for clients while socializing and being active in the community or at home. Our companions provide social interaction and conversation, activities and exercise, shopping support, and appointment escorts.
Many of our Care Companions and Personal Support Workers also provide Home Support Services including housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation. Tell us what you need and we will do our best to assist you.
Care Management and Counselling
Issues related to aging and health care can be overwhelming and being able to draw on others can be essential to physical and mental well-being. Our professional Care Management Team have significant experience that can assist You. We offer... ♦ Continuous assessment and evaluation of complex care needs. ♦ Regular contact with and management of others involved in Your care. ♦ Counselling and support for You, your friends and family. ♦ Respite care management for family and other caregivers on a short-term basis. ♦
